Just Stay;

In loving memory

Guided by her light. Driven by her absence.

Dedicated to a cherished friend who was a brilliant light in this world. While the ripple effect of her absence shook us to our core, it also ignited a fierce commitment within us. We all move and operate in her memory, turning her enduring light into a beacon for others.

Choose to Stay; because she couldn't. Her legacy is the reason we stay, the reason we reach out, and the reason we keep fighting for one another.

To our friend, be free and fly high. Forever missed.

A heart without boundaries

Lacie Morgan Helms—or Lacie Mo, as everyone loved to call her—was a beautiful, free spirit who loved fiercely and without any boundaries. Lacie was the literal light of the world because of her massive, unconditional heart. She felt things deeply and had this incredible, tender soft spot for anyone who was struggling. She consistently put other people's pain above her own, doing whatever she could to brighten their day.

Mo-Tie Co.

Lacie was gifted with creativity. Just days before leaving this world in November 2016 at only 23 years old, she had started her own business, “Mo-Tie Co,” with a simple, beautiful goal: to donate her proceeds to charity and help people in need. Her life taught us what real, lead-with-love kind of love looks like. She left us with a legacy that reminds us every single day to drop our arguments, forgive quickly, and just take care of each other.

Strength as a love language

If you ever scrolled through her Instagram, you saw firsthand how she used her passion for fitness to spark light in others. To Lacie, working out wasn't about aesthetics; it was about strength, healing, and building a community. Her page was a vibrant, raw canvas where she shared her own journey, sweat, and genuine encouragement. She used her digital space to uplift strangers, cheer on friends, and remind everyone that their bodies and minds were capable of incredible things. That same energy pours directly into how we connect online today, treating our digital platforms not as marketing tools, but as direct extensions of her virtual encouraging hugs.

The heartbeat of Humxn.org

Lacie's beautiful, imperfect, and boundlessly kind spirit is a guiding light for everything we do at Humxn.org. While this page only scratches the surface of who she was, it is dedicated to her lifetime of giving, caring, and effortless kindness. Our organization operates in harmony with her core belief that every single person is inherently worthy of love, always looking past labels to focus entirely on the raw human experience. This perspective beautifully reflects the core of our two main initiatives: Just Stay; (our mental health and suicide prevention branch) and Save The Next Child (our anti-bullying initiative). Every piece of advocacy we build, every resource we share, and every safe space we open honors the generosity and love she shared so freely with the world.
